On May 16th, the Gators won against Northern Potter. With a score of 7-2, Howie Stukey pitched a fantastic game. 13 players were struck out, none were walked and only 3 hit. Coach Nate Zitnik says this about the game, “Howie was outstanding. You don’t see many freshman throw a complete game.”

May 17th, Port lost to Eldred, 8-1. The Gators only score was an RBI made by Devin Gustin. Gustin also struck out 6 people and walked 2.

Monday, May 15th, Port lost to Smethport 9-6. David talkington, Devin Gustin and Tyler Lashway were all losses for pitching. Howie Stukey and Talkington went 2-for-4. Stukey with a double and Talkington with two RBIs when the Gators made a comeback, scoring 3 runs.

Wednesday, May 10th, Port lost to Bradford 10-0. Port only lasted 5 innings, Bradford pitched a no hitter. Josh Rees went 3 innings, striking out 2 and walking 3.

On Friday, April 21st, the Gators lost to Johnsonburg, 10-1.

On April 12th, Port took a big loss against Coudy in a 3 inning game. The score was 17-0. The Gators had 2 hits and 6 errors.

On April 10th, Port Allegany lost to Cameron County. In a game of 5 innings, the Cameron County pitcher pitched a no-hitter. He struck out 10 players, while Howie Stukey struck out 2. This was Cameron County’s first win.

Next game will be against Coudersport.

On March 29th, the Port Allegany Baseball team lost against Oswayo Valley 11-1. Howie Stuckey drove in the Gators’ only point on an RBI.
